My Friendly Neighborhood Cheats
My Friendly Neighborhood is already pretty fun, but there’s a way to make it even BETTER! I am talking about cheats that help completely change how you play the game. These can really spice up your gameplay or give you plenty to mess around with.
In this guide, I will tell you each and every cheat in My Friendly Neighborhood, how to unlock them, and what they do.
How Many Cheats Are There, and How Do You Unlock Them?
The game features 15 cheats in total, each rewarding you with some amazing ability, or power to experiment around. There are 12 cheats that you can unlock by finding cassette tapes scattered throughout the game. The cheat you unlock from these collectibles aren’t tied to the specific location where you found it, they unlock in a set order as you gather more tapes.
Then there are 3 more cheats that you get from completing the game on certain difficulties. However, to earn these, you need to beat the game without having to use any mods or cheats.
All Cheats And How to Unlock Them
Below you can find each and every cheat in My Friendly Neighborhood, how you can unlock them, and the ability they provide.
1. Infinite Ammo
This is a handy one that allows you to have unlimited ammo for every weapon. You no longer need to scavenge for bullets, just spray your enemies without worry. It’s especially useful if you’re tired of rationing supplies or want to focus on exploring rather than survival mechanics.
2. Invincibility
Then we have one for invincibility which is unlocked by beating the game on Unfriendly mode. Gordon becomes completely immune to enemy attacks, making it impossible to die, like God Mode.
3. Speedy Gordon
This one increases Gordon’s movement speed, giving it a significant boost, making him much faster. This is great for moving quickly through areas, avoiding enemies, or just speeding up exploration if you’re replaying the game.
4. Speedy Enemies
Ok this might sound counter-intuitive, but it makes enemies move faster, making them harder to avoid and adding an extra layer of challenge. You can combine it with Gordon’s speed, and have a really fun time.
5. Mega Wrench
This cheat turns the wrench into the ultimate weapon. With one powerful swing, you can put down any puppet. It’s a crazy one-hit kinda cheat that makes every other weapon feel weak.
6. Fast Weapons
This cheat increases the firing and attack speed of all weapons, which makes for some insane gunplay experience.
7. Triple Enemies
This cheat multiplies the number of active puppets in a room by three. Make sure to only use it when you are sure you can take them down, maybe with that one-hit wrench of yours? It only works on aggressive puppets, and not the passive ones.
8. Big Heads
With this one, all the puppets’ heads become ridiculously oversized, giving them this funny look. It doesn’t help you much, but it’s pretty fun.
9. Tiny Gordon
This cheat makes Gordon shrink in size. Again, this one doesn’t help you or anything, it’s just a hilarious way to change up the perspective.
10. Long Arms
As the name suggests, this one makes Gordon’s arms are hilariously stretched, which also increases the range of his attacks and allows him to grab objects from pretty far away. It’s both useful and hilarious, adding a bit of humor to the gameplay.
11. Jointless Ragdolls
This cheat makes the puppets’ ragdolls go absolutely nuts when they fall, like hilariously funny. Their limbs flail around wildly, sometimes clipping through walls or even floors.
12. Slow Mo
This cheat slows everything down, like max payne kinda slow, which makes the game feel super dramatic. It’s great if you are looking to capture some cinematic moments or just have fun with slow-motion action scenes.
13. Chipmunk Voices
This is like the most fun one, which makes all the characters’ voices pitched up to sound like chipmunks. You will have some genuine laughs with this as it turns every serious scene sound hilarious.
14. Bullet Model Change
Ok this one is a little weird. It turns every bullet into giant crayons. It’s not really useful or anything, it simply turns the more serious battles into arts-and-crafts battles than a horror survival game.
15. Invincible Enemies
Last but not least, if you are insane, or you think nothing can beat you, try making your enemies invincible. This turns the game from action horror to all about survival, cranking up the difficulty to max.
That’s pretty much all the cheats you can get in My Friendly Neighborhood, and trust me, I’ve had a lot of fun by combining some of these. Let me know what combinations you could think of.
