Fastest Way to Get Dragon Balls in Sparking Zero
There are many important things to do in Dragon Ball Sparking Zero, however, none as important as getting your hands on those shining round spheres. And for good reasons, as collecting all 7 Dragon Balls grant you special wishes from Shenron, or Porunga or even the cosmic beast super Shenron.
However, like they say, for greater benefits, you need better grinding (just made that up). But if you look hard enough, there’s always a less time consuming way to do things. In this guide, I am gonna tell you the fastest way to get your hands on Dragon Balls in Sparking Zero.
How to Farm Dragon Balls Fast
There are quite a few ways to get your hands on the Dragon Balls in Sparking Zero; you can do Episode Battles, or get from Zen-oh and Whis. However, there’s actually a faster way to acquire these Dragon Balls. Sure, the drop rate isn’t all consistent, but I will guide you through the process of increasing your chance of getting those shiny balls.
However, before I talk about this method, you will need to have the Rising Fighting Spirit Battle Ability item and a character with a powerful ki blast and short powerful blast animation. Or you can go for the Latent Power Unleashed, if Rising Fighting Spirit Battle Ability isn’t your thing.
Once you have that, the next best thing you can do to get dragon balls is to go into offline versus mode with some tweaked match settings.
The Secret Battle Settings
Here are the settings you need to do in order for this strategy to work:
-
Open up the Settings
-
Select the World Tournament map, which has an out-of-bounds mechanic (instant win if your opponent gets knocked out of the arena).
-
Turn the Out-of-Bounds option ON in the settings.
-
Pick a weak opponent, whoever you want, someone who’s a non-flying character. These characters are easier to deal with because they don’t fly or dodge much.
-
As soon as the match begins, use a Blast Super Attack (any fast, powerful move).
-
If it hits, it will knock your opponent out of the arena instantly, ending the match in a matter of seconds.
-
Keep replaying the match using this method. It’s quick and efficient, but it will still require some repetition (grinding) to gather all the Dragon Balls you need.
Now, it’s a bit of a try-catch kinda process, but you can expect to receive one Dragon Ball after every 6-12 battles, and that’s for the normal Dragon Balls. For the rarer Porunga ones, those numbers increase two to three times. However, the battles aren’t too long anyway, they only last for around 20 seconds each, from start to end.
Do this enough times, and you will have collected all the Dragon Balls you need to make a wish, whether it’s a favorite character you want to unlock or spend your wish to get some more Zenis.
