Break the window of a green car at the start of the game to get the Key of Sorrow.

Use this key and code 314 to open the Manager’s Office safe in the Lakeview Hotel.

Inside, retrieve the Toluca Postcard. Examine it 2–3 times before finishing the game.

This ending portrays James falling even deeper into despair, highlighting his inability to overcome his grief.
This one is similar to the original bad ending, where James gives in to his helplessness, and gives up any hope of coming back from his grief.
