Arnold

Completing Arnold's jigsaw puzzle (which counts as helping him) is actually mandatory to continue through the game. Still, there are quite a few puzzles to get through, so you'll find a walkthrough for each of them below.

You'll encounter Arnold in the penthouse at the top of the hotel. Unlike the other puppets, he won't attack you physically - but you'll be ready to reach for the mute button after hearing his music.

All penthouse puzzle pieces

As mentioned above, Arnold expects you to complete his jigsaw puzzle. The pieces are hidden all throughout the penthouse, so if you'd prefer a video guide, I put one together here. Otherwise, start with the purple door near him - you'll find a kitchen where everything inside is made of cardboard.

  1. Grab a tomato, then use the knife on it to get tomato sauce. Put the tomato sauce in the microwave.
  2. Take the cans and milk off a nearby shelf, then check the microwave - you should find some orange juice.
  3. Put the milk in the microwave to get cheese, then use the knife on it to get a banana.
  4. Put the cans on the stove, then leave and re-enter the room to find a stew in its place.
  5. Put the stew, banana, and orange juice inside the fridge to get a cardboard key.

A neighboring room with a red-and-white checkered door is home to a real key. You should swap the real key for the fake cardboard one, then enter the room with a light blue door to find a computer.

  • Click the padlock icon to 'log in' - no, you don't need a password. Because it's a cardboard computer. Duh.
  • Click on cam 'A', then click on the painting it shows. Repeat this with cam 'B'.

There's nothing else to do in here, so enter the neighboring room - one with a green door - and unlock the chest in the corner to get the first puzzle piece. You can also find a map on the desk, and when you leave, you should look out for a blue door near the cameras on the other side of the room. It leads to a safe room, where the second puzzle piece is in a chest.

Next, go back to the corridor that led to Arnold's piano room. The paintings you passed earlier have moved aside, and the third puzzle piece is inside a drawer on your right. At first glance, you might not think the other painting was hiding anything useful - but a closer look at the bookcase will unlock a secret passage. Head through it, and you'll encounter a gallery with buttons beneath each painting. Press them in this order:

  1. The drawing of a green triangle, yellow circle, and blue square.
  2. The drawing of a fox
  3. The drawing of several multicoloured squares and rectangles
  4. The drawing of several blue circles with red outlines, and a large pink triangle behind them
  5. The drawing of fruit

You'll know you've done it right when the fruit drawing lifts up, revealing the final puzzle piece. Head through the door at the other end of the gallery, fight through the enemy-filled corridors, and you'll end up back in the piano room - where the pieces can be placed in the jigsaw near Arnold. All that's left is to pull the lever - just note that doing so will prevent you from returning to the previous areas.

After a wonderfuel duet, the Music for Four Hands achievement will be yours. If you helped every other puppet up to this point, you can get the game's best ending when saying 'yes' to ricky's offer after the final boss fight.
