Ray
Our protagonist has a lot in common with this grumpy old handyman, but you'll need to make significant progress through the game to help them see eye to eye.
Exclusively found in the sewers, this babbling idiot still has the honor of being the thing I get jumpscared by most often when replaying the game. Thankfully, he can't move - and if you spot him lurking in a pipe, a few shots will scare him off.
How to help Ray
Unlike the other puppets, helping Ray isn't too difficult. You'll need to use the office elevator or slide down into the western section of the sewers, where your red diamond key will get you into a room with a pump part. Next, return to the gardens, using the elevator there to reach the eastern section of the sewers, and use your green triangle key to enter a room with a broken machine.
As you might expect, the pump part will fix this machine (and, in turn, brighten Ray's day). The rooms you need to visit are annotated on the maps below, but if you prefer video guides, I put one together here.
On harder difficulties, helping Ray won't stop the little punk from whacking you when you go past his pipes, but you'll get the 'A Purging Tide' achievement and one step closer to the best ending for your trouble.
