My Friendly Neighborhood: How to help all the puppets

Pearl is the kind of character you'd get when describing the Big Bird muppet to somebody who's terrified of birds... and probably high.

You'll find her in Stage 4, one of the game's first areas, where she wanders aimlessly until she spots you - at which point, running indoors or somewhere she can't reach is recommended to avoid being pancaked.

How to help Pearl the Bird

To help Pearl, you need to find her glasses; this is optional in a regular playthrough, but as the introduction mentioned, it's mandatory in a playthrough where you’re going for the best ending.

1. Head into the pizza shop and turn the clock hands to make it Anchovy o'Clock.
2. Go up the stairs beside the school and enter the building (seen on map below.)
3. Take the glasses from the now-opened box near the door
4. Get close to Pearl’s face and press E to give her the glasses. Try not to get hit.
5. Finally, pay a visit to the mirror behind the school.

For your hard and selfless work, you'll watch a heartwarming cutscene and unlock the Looking in the Mirror achievement. Pearl will stop attacking you, too - a very nice bonus!
