Hotline Miami Trophy / Achievement Guide

Actual dog lovers will probably want to play something else - this one's going to get messy.

Dogs attack quickly, and unless you're wearing the Tony (Tiger) mask, they're immune to punches. Shooting from afar and / or making melee swings right as they close in are the only really viable strategies, and while it's likely that you'll get this achievement on your way to getting all A+ ranks, you can use the list below as a reference when hunting for dogs.

1. Chapter 4 - Tension
   • 1 on the ground floor.
2. Chapter 5 - Full House
   • 2 on the ground floor.
3. Chapter 7 - Neighbors
   • 1 on the second floor, 1 on the third floor.
4. Chapter 8 - Push It
   • 2 on the ground floor, 2 on the upper-left floor
5. Chapter 9 - Crackdown
   • 2 on the ground floor, 1 on the upper floor.
   • Rushing in, killing the dog near the door and letting yourself die to repeat is arguably the quickest way to farm this achievement.
6. Chapter 10 - Hot & Heavy
   • 1 in the bottom right sub-section, 2 in the sub-section to the right, 1 in the left sub-section
7. Chapter 14 - Vengeance
   • 1 on the floor with the monster truck, 2 on the floor with the club owner
